Just got back from Zions with Nate Woods, and Lance Darley. The really cool pics you see were done by Kevin Mikkelsen, He has his own little photo business. Let me know if you want anything he has shot, and I'll get you in touch with him.
Friday we did the dos boot version of the subway. A slot canyon located in Zions. We started this 10 hour adventure at 5:45 in the morning. We had to use our head lamps to see the trail. We knew it was going to be a good day when God greeted us good morning with several falling stars. The Subway you can tell by the pics, is very cool. Wet suits are a must, and we had to do several swims in this canyon, and about 4 simple repels of about 30 to 40 feet each. Kevin met us at the bottom and took these beautiful pics you see of the Subway.
Saturday we did employee canyon. I suggest you google this and read the specs on it because it was indeed amazing. It took us about 6 hours to clean this canyon. This ended with 6 total repels of 140 to 190 feet each. dropping you 1700 feet out of the sky to the valley floor. You hike out and end up at the employee loding, thus the name employee canyon. Pictures below show some of the repels and shear beauty of where we were. The last repel is a free hang because the cliff juts back super far. TOTAL RUSH.
