Reedo showed that he is the ultimate human speciman by showing up on a bike from walmart and just taking it to us. It's not about the bike. Reedo def. took his share of the pulls on the way home. Jeff this his rookie season over the mountain finished with flying colors.

This is Jed (sved) John the "schlongs" (what did you say?) brother in law. Last year with little experience and no skills, he turned around and took the trail of shame back down the mtn, with his tail between his legs.

Nathan Woods the man. With barely any miles on his legs for the year this dude stomped over the mountain. Animal!!!!!

The never ending summary to summer
So the end of our never ending summer summary, which I think I just did backwards. Excuse the mistake new to this blogging. We went to Downata Hot Springs for our last Horah of the summer. We went with Prestons sister Holly, Thurnburn family, our poker buddies the Snars and Prestons cousin John and Kims family. Thanks for all the fun. It was a long, fun summer so my kids can't say it was totally boring.

So like every summer you have to fit in swimming lessons. If you ask Jess if she wanted swimming lessons she said" Heck ya, 2 weeks of swimming in a pool why not!" They had an awesome teacher Holly, thanks! They almost are as good as Micheal Phelps.

In August we did the Marshall Bear Lake Trip. The kids love this trip. Trey, Kelty, and Teagen were playing a chasing game. The girls just swam like fish all day. My brother Brett brought his water ballon launcher which kept the kids busy for a while.

Of course we played soccer. We did the Cache Cup in Logan. Both Elle and Jessica played. They both did great.

Elle got to celebrate her birthday on no other then July 24th. I was new to the whole blogging thing so I didn't get to post her birthday. She turned 9 she got to pick what she wanted to do that day. We went to Walle the movie and dinner at Olive Garden who can complain.

In July it was my granparents anniversary. So we went up and hung out and celebrated them. They have had a rough few months. I truly love and appreciate them. Along with the party we went down the Logan River. This was Treys first time. He just loved it.

One of our favorite places to camp is at Mantua. We try to go a few times each summer. This summer we got to go twice. Lots of boating and fun in the sun. This is Preston skiing which he hasn't done in a few years. I haven't in 4 years but I did get up. It was a fun time we got to hang out with Preston's sister Jamie, Jeff, Jason, and Jenna. Also his cousin John, Kim, Kassidy, Katie, Shae.

We then went to Mantua with some good friends the Pittmans. That was an exciting adventure with them and a plug. Thanks to our computer crashing I cant find those pics. The next adventure was up to South Fork for the Fourth of July. The girls had a blast going down the river. This trip was with the Dagley Grandparents. Plus we had some sibling vistors. Brett and Steph came up with their daring girls who held the gater snake we found.

So the first of the summer started with Nicci's new calling which is Girls Camp Director big title huh?

Belated First Day of School and First Day of School
So I thought I would finally get all my kids first day of school, but unfortunately they started different days. Jessica & Elle started August 25th and Trey started today. Jessica is now in 6th grade, Elle is in 3rd grade and Trey is now in preschool twice a week for 2 1/2 hours. I really don't know what to do with my self. It's amazing how they grow. Jessica started out with glasses and now doesn't even have to wear them anymore. She is unfortunate to have to have braces. Elle has just gotten taller. Trey I can't believe is this old, it went by fast. So here are their pictures of present and old. Also by the way I have to say something about Trey's pictures. This morning he was so excited about preschool he couldn't wait. When it was time to get ready to go he told me that he needed his hair done like the girls. Without the long hair. So I got some hair pomenade and gelled his hair. He then told me he need to see it. "Mommy that looks good" he said then went on to say "I look really good". We then preceded outside where he made sure to pose. I never knew he would care that much about what he looks like.
